ok so i realized how bad that diagram was so i made another one.. this time i did it in paint so it should be a little easier to understand.

the questions about whether this will work and if i need caps (and if i do what sizes and where?) still stand.

thanks again! :D

Having never used that type of switch I can't tell you ... but if you post the diagram with your questions at the guitarnuts forum, you'll get a very informed answer.

I'm confused... does the pickguard have two or three pots? Seems like everything you are seeing has two pots, but most strat guards have three. Are you planning on using three or just two? If you have three you could turn that into a blend pot.

Sorry - just looked at the original post again. Two pots. Gotcha.

Why wouldn't you want to use three? With the humbucker getting it's own tone?

i decided to only have one tone for the neck yjm because i have never needed a tone for my bridge humbucker.
