the mildew case smell

Well I finally found an apple I didn't like so I cut it in half and have set it in my catty guitar case.

Will let you know in a couple of days....

I predict one of two things will occur. The smell will be gone or I'm going to start an apple orchard. :D

Well, guess what I forgot about for a few days? Apple stashed in the guitar case. :oops:

I don't know if the original odor is gone but my case sure smells like apples. :D

The apple didn't rot either. I expected to find a mushy mess but the two halves were a bit brown and shriveled. No harm to inner case. And, yes, it did do the star pattern. :wink:

i think leaving an open box of baking soda in the case overnite might remove the odor :shock:
