So the first Funk Jam is on the shelves! :D
Totally trippin', man!
Good job everybody.
(Note: If the clip doesn't open for you the first time, try it again. I'm finding that Quicktime clips often fail to open on my first try, but are successful the second.)

Margaret: it's just an MP3 file, if QT is giving you problems then why not associate the files with Windows Media Player or WinAmp?

Files that open with Quicktime don't offer me any chance to make a choice, they just open and automatically start playing in Q, even though it is not what I have set as the default player.
We recently installed a new CD/DVD burner and the software for it is Nero Showtime and most things open in Nero now. Prior to that my default was Windows Media Player, but Quicktime files always insisted on opening in Q for some reason, and evidently still do.
It's not a problem as long as Quicktime continues to work on the second try.

Very nice guys!! I've given it several listens!
I think this funk jam, more so than past ones, is going to give us a very wide variety of styles in playing and tone. Which I think is going to make this jam one of the coolest to date!

"Rock And Roll Ain't Noise Pollution"
I love it
Big, fat chucka-chucka-blam chords, blues, slide and that almost keyboard synth sound at the end.
Who would'a thunk all these styles would just blend right together like this!
Can't wait to hear the other teams!
 Trippy is right, i like that ending. That jam reminds me of a track played during a chase scene of an episode of starsky and hutch. Fun to listen to. It's gonna be cool to hear everybody's take on this funk tune.
"He makes want to remove the neck from my strat and use it for kindling to get the body burnin' good."
Awesome jam! Thanks for sharing!
