Is it really "news" when Vic gets injured - again?!?
Have a quick recovery old pal!
(Still pissed off about that nail, though. I HATE using plecs - now I'm going to have to use one, for at least a couple of weeks.)
Oh man, just let us know how you're doing in a month. I'm willing to bet quite some money that if you spend the next month on playing with a plec you'll come to be really thankfull for that damaged nail. The only reason I play with a pick is because I cut my finger way back and I had no choice, best thing that ever happened to me.
Happily it seems that the reports of your demise are somewhat exaggerated
Not quite, it's more that nobody here has the guts to tell him he really is dead. He'll probably figure it out on his own sooner or later. :P

Didn't we have that scare a few years ago  I think someone wrote a song about it too

LOL, yeah, that was Marvelous Optimist - we played it together when I met up with him in Texas. Can't be too many people around who've played on a song written about their own death!!!
All this weeding and chopping down of trees isn't great for the fingers - well, chopping it to small bits today for easy disposal. Don't think I've got one unbroken fingernail left! Although on the credit side, I still have a full complement of fingers and other limbs - not bad considering I've been using an electric saw for two days!
Yep, I just checked....nothing missing!
Think I'll give Ric's idea a miss - I'd probably try and mould them under the cold tap then plunge my fingers into the boiling water....you know when you see TV programmes, and someone says, "Don't try this at home!".......that's ME they're talking to.....
:D :D :D

I'm pretty sure Homeland security still remembers that trip
"The Box" Probably one of the best songs written and performed by a Forum member.(IMHO)
