Caetano Veloso is Brazilian and he makes another style of music. Veloso is a common surname in Portugal and also it is a Spanish surname. Rui Veloso plays mainly blues and rock, he also has some ballads and fados.
I've been wanting a 335 also and was looking at the Epiphone Sheraton 2s. Seem a little more high end than the epi dots but still much less than the gibby 335s.
Yeah, a real 335 is out of my price range, and I think one can do much better than a brand new Gibby. Thats why I'm looking at Tokai and Heritage, Guild even. You can get a hand-made, high quality guitar, that sound better than a brand new gibby, is better made, might be 20 years old, for around 1300 or less. An old Guild is more, but still...
