geez..and I used to listen to New Kids in The Block
I liked especially that bealesque song 'Tonight' ( Ã la Hello Goodbye).
eerr...are you there?? don't leave me alone!!
I'm listening, Rgalvez. :)
I'll throw in a couple more I don't think are just kinda/sorta good but brilliant songs, but people always look sideways at me when I mention them:
The Jacksons' Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)
and
Roger Miller's King of the Road
:)

Rahul,
Your only getting a month since you've beena member in good standing for so long now...but if we catch you with those Backstreet Boy CD's..it's going to be a much longer sentence
So what happens when I declare that N'Sync, Westlife and Boyzone are also in the list of my guilty pleasurable 'boy' bands...
And occasionly I love to groove to Britney Spears 'Hit me baby one more time' as well.
Didn't want to ruin anyone's hopes, but through this thread I am coming clean. (or rather trying to do so...)
Rahul,
Since you've been honest about all your guilty pleasures (you sure there aren't anymore)we will commute your sentence to time served. When do you have time to listen to Green Day with all these boy bands playing?
"It's all about stickin it to the man!"
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!
Well, I used to listen to them earlier. Now only when some dude walks up to me and says - Hey man, you know what, I think Backstreet Boys rock. And you know what more, Westlife is the best in the whole world.
I don't trump them down since I understand they haven't listened to any 60s or 70s or the new punk music. So I would just say, ''Ok man, your boys rock.'' and listen to their songs just to please them.
And pretend I am enjoying too.
By the way, thanks for the commutation. I have been reading that Bush has been involved in such things lately, though of course that's another story. :P
OMG, I gotta say, Rahul, you bring some funny **** to the forums....
Thanks for the laughs.

My rock status will be revoked, and seeing that I'm a big 80's hair rock kinda guy ...
I owned Milli Vanilli and Vanilla Ice tapes. I also liked bands like Flock of Seagulls and Duran Duran. There, I said it.

"Rock And Roll Ain't Noise Pollution"
"Me and You and a Dog named Boo" , Lobos, I think?
Anything by Tommy James and the Shondells, also, anything by The Jaggerz, (I'm close friends with the surviving members, they still perform here in my hometown, and Donnie Iris! (pronounced DOOOOnie!)
Perfect for cruising in my IROC Z with a mullet and big haired girlfriend!
When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming......
like the passengers in his car.
The Jaggerz? That's cool! "The Rapper" is in the Buddah Box.

When I'm in a sentimental mood I seek out the old Terry Jacks song "Seasons in the Sun".
Of course, on the other side, there's always the Bay City Rollers... whew, I finally said it! I feel much better.
Wyle :)
Who did the cover of "Seasons in the Sun" back in the nineties? They broke into "The Hustle" in the middle of it.
