All eccentracies aside, I liked his playing. I guess I liked how smooth and simple it was. It looked like he just used basic shapes to get some peculiar voicings. There wasn't a ton of dancing or pyrotechnics either. :twisted:
But what I'm REALLY impressed with is how he managed to stay standing in those heels. The Aunt Jamima headband was a nice touch too... :lol:

I didn't watch the Superbowl. But I do remember seeing Prince play the Grammy's a few years ago and I have to say that his guitar playing was amazing. You wouldn't recognize his talent normally, because his music isn't really guitar centric so to speak.
Some of it is, but it's often quite well hidden. I quite like his well-known stuff, but there's some real gems hidden as album tracks on obscure-ish albums (and some absolute shockers too, but I guess that's just taste :wink:)
prince is an awesome guitarists... he has his wierd side but did you know that he composes all his music on paper for every instrument? He writes out the drums, the bass, and everything.... thats awesome
