Ugh. My parents were able to go so him last summer, but alas, I was working. And now, it seems, I am too late. Perhaps I can make a pilgrimage to Chicago to see him play some year. I know he plays some clubs around there, and says he will continue to do so. I would love to see Lucile and BB. Apparently, a very good live performance. As for the story, I have heard that before, and I think it is a great way to obtain a name for a guitar! Very good back story.
Thanks for the tales,

I'd have thought that he'd treat Lucille better than that
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

I got the chance to be on B.B.'s Tour Bus after a concert about
12 years ago. While waiting in line to meet The Man the guy in
front me of noticed that on one of the bunks there was a label
reading"Lucille". I pulled back the curtain a bit and there she
was lying comfortably in her gig bag. An urge too powerful to
resist came over and I had to reach in and give her a gentle
squeeze.
I hope B.B. never finds out
John
Celt, was there no chance of lifting it safely home ? If yes, you have missed a huge oppurtunity and committed a grave mistake.
