A firey comet, a shooting star.
Oh look at that, so very far
far away. Then its gone,
never to be seen again.
... and never forgotten.

Walking now in my empty space.
Just looking for a place,
that reminds me of all the moments.

I always close my eyes too soon,
I always miss it while its there.
Take me back jack to the noon,
When we played in the sands.
When we use to hold hands.
When we ran around.
When it was all too much fun.

Please show me what I miss
Please tell me what is this?
All these faces,
All these places,
All the things my mind chases.

I look for a picture,
to paint me a portrait,
that reminds me of all the moments.

It went away too soon
I wish I could reach out and touch it.
Take me back jack to the noon,
When we had that first bash.
When we got to first base.
When we had no restraint.
When it was all too much fun.

Just take me back,
Just show me that.
Why can't I feel this way?
Why does it go away?
I loved all the moments.

Now its too late.
Its all done and gone.
Its time to move on.

But I'll take another trip soon,
To all the young and restless nights.
Take me back jack to the noon,
When we threw up our hats,
When we achieved our goals
When we filled our souls.
When it was all too much fun.

When we were young.
When it was fun.
Please take me back...

Hi'a alac05

Not sure if this was for a SSG assignment or not !!! been away for a sabatical, but thought I should give it a read anyway.
I love these lines,

Walking now in my empty space.
Just looking for a place,
that reminds me of all the moments.

the rest is very long for me and I tend to lose concentration on long songs !!!! ( sorry, just me) I would personally shorten it a bit,

You have some great lines in here, but I would re work it a bit, take out all the unecessary wording, this would make it a lot more poignant when sung.

Hope this helps

Go well
Ja'mir.
