Well I am going to cheat here
This is the best song I have ever written and this lady sings it awesomely
Elle sings
Vic plays lead
Here it is
"Kiss Me "
Kiss Me
You kiss me when you go to work
You kiss me when you get home
You kiss me as you say good night
So kiss me now and hold me tight
Cuddling up and laying in bed
Upon your chest I lay my head
And while your body warms my feet
In my heart I feel complete
Just like that moon light sneaking through
This star just wants to be with you
And loose myself in your touch
With a single kiss that means so much
You kiss me when you go to work
You kiss me when you get home
You kiss me as you say good night
So kiss me now and hold me tight
I wrote it a while ago with Pbee giving it a look over and adding / changing a few words here is where I originally posted it

Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am
You know, Trev, at the time I thought I'd played some decent lead on that song - it's an indication of how far I've come (lead-wise) in just a few short months, I truly think it sucks now.....can I have another go?
Still love the song though - and hey, where's Elle these days?
:D :D :D
Vic
"Sometimes the beauty of music can help us all find strength to deal with all the curves life can throw us." (D. Hodge.)
Vic go right ahead mate ..
Elle is a very busy girl lately with work and stuff ..
But I am sure she will be around soon enough ...
Pete
Noo mate I aint that good thats Elle ...One day I'll play with her and Vic and Paul , John , and you and anyone else I can grab :)
Trev...
Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am
Makes me miss my boyfriend - studying abroad ain't always fun I guess... Good for you though: if a song hits someone emotionally it's a good one! (well, imo ;))
I'm going to have to give it another try. When I listen to it, the whole thing is speeded up like Alvin and the Chipmunks. Entire song is done in less than a minute and a half.
Great lyrics and it sounds like a fun arrangement. Can't wait to hear it at real speed.
Peace
Play it in lo-hi ..
Something happens when I record , everything has to be LO-FI
:D :D :D :D :D
Trev
Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am
Ah! That's much better...
Very cool! Kudos all around!
Peace
When I listen to it, the whole thing is speeded up like Alvin and the Chipmunks.
 I thought exactly the same.
But, of course, much better in lo-fi. I don't know if it was just me, but I got hit by this insane urge to hear the "Dirty Dancing" soundtrack after hearing this. Nostalgia or something, I guess. Great song, I felt it fit the genre like a glove.
"I wish there was an over the counter test for my loneliness"
Thanks for the feed back and Vic do you still have the original with out your lead if not its on my sound click somewhere PM me I'll send you the right one as I kept all recordings of it there ..
Thanks for the comments everyone and when I wrote this I had Olivia Newton-John singing "Hopelessly Devoted to You " in mind or was that desperate mind thinking Olivia would ever Kiss Me LMAO
Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am
Trev,
Well this one has really made the rounds but it does fit the assignment perfectly.
I was listening to it again and noticed it has a '60s Beach Movie feel to.
I could really picture Anette singing this to Frankie.
And Vic I would leave the lead alone it fits the song very well.
John
Hi,
Good to hear this, as I must have missed it first time around. Good job all round by everybody involved. Something very heartening in this day and age to see a global collaboration like that work well.
Cheers,
Chris
