My friend helped me write one of these lines. Critics are welcome

Here I stay to take part in the things that you do to me.
I don't want to move in fear that you will find out I'm still here.
I'll just let you do what you want to, do whatever you may please.
I will find my second wind to take you away and let you disappear.

Give me a breath of your life.
Either split open the lungs
or leave me to die.
Give me a breath of your life.
I need a second wind
for I am still alive.

I'm alive on the inside but dead on the out.
I may be breathing, but looks can be deceiving.
My heart is still beating, although not, it may seem.
I am the Alpha, the Omega, and everything in between.

Give me a breath of your life.
Either split open the lungs
or leave me to die.
Give me a breath of your life.
I need a second wind
for I am still alive.

Give me your breath of life.
Give me your breath of life.
Give me your breath of life.
Give me your breath of life.

Take another look and find out
just how much hot air I can take.
I have done much to clear my word from your lies.
How much sh*t I have taken in the past, so cry.
See if I care.
See if I give a d*mn.
See the life you've sucked away.
I'll leave you breathless, just because I can.

Give me a breath of your life.
Either split open the lungs
or leave me to die.
Give me a breath of your life.
I need a second wind
for I am still alive.

There's a thin fine line between hate and rage.
Now watch the line be crossed and break!

I like this one. Don't know exactly what it's saying, but it has a certain spiritual quality to it that grabs me.

There is a clear movement in the song from helpless victim to self reflection to control all laced with a bit of hope and a healthy dose of anger. There is clearly an emotional content to this song. I felt that the Alpha and Omega reference was some what out of sync with the thought presented in the verse. The repeated use of the line "Give me your breath" does a good job of transitioning from the controlled to the controling.

Good job

Hey!! Who moved my cheese???

They say that only 1 song in 100 is good!?! I think I need a lot more scratch paper!!!
