I'm interested in minimalism with respect to my song writing at the moment. The objective is to say lots with less, that's the theory anyway. This song is written with this in mind, so some feedback on whether I've achieved that would be really appreciated.

Hey Paul
You will probably hate me for saying this but I read it over and over , everytime I kept getting ( ducking for cover here  )
Mamas' and the Papas' version of "Leaving on a Jet Plane "
Hey I like that version sorry if you don't :?
As usual Paul great song , writting wise nothing here I can offer to alter
Verse 3 the " to do " could cause a problem but its' all how one sings it ( they tell me ) ...
Good to see your back in here again ..
I fly home Thursday night hopefully I can record this week end
and hopefully stay home this time >>>>

Trevor

Hey I can't decide if I hear bob marley or the beatles but either way its awsome. The recording sounds great and I would totally sing this around a camp fire with some people with long hair and questionable moral fiber.

Hey Paul, great job here mate, I love the repitition in the verses, it works SO well!

Have to second that! :P

I'd sing this anywhere. It's a great song and people should love it.
The only thing I'd change, Paul, is actually a move to make it even more minimalist. I'd change the last line of each verse to "Come be with me, be with me..." simply because I like both the rhyme and the way that would set up the chorus.
Possible to get a "cheat sheet" of chords for those of us who would like to share it with the world next time one plays out?
Peace
Thanks for the comments guys.
Trevor, thanks for the encouragement I do appreciate it, BTW your beers are safe
Dneck, Im going with the beatles mate, that makes me feel real good.
Pete, I was hoping the repetition would work, cheers.
David, I like your idea, let me think about that, Ill play around with it for a while and see how it sounds, thanks.
For those that are interested here is the cheat sheet, if you play it please give me the credit. BTW I might not have named the chords correctly but the tabs are correct.Be with me

Hey Paul,
Great work. I'm not a minimalist by any stretch, so I was skeptical on first read, but once I heard it I was sold. That realy works.
Wish I could be more helpful.
