Well, I'm not really a relationship kind of guy, but a friend of mine was in a relationship over about a two year period where he broke up and got back together with his girlfriend about 14 times. At first it was painfull to watch, then just idiotic. I tryed to draw from that.
I must say though, I have a test tomorrow, so I kinda rushed it. Definate changes in store for future.

Dance in ash.

Hardly enough shame to be
ri-iiiiiiii-ght
Hardly enough shame to be
ri-iiiiiiiii-ght
Help me if I'm wrong
Is knowing being strong?
Enough shame between the two
to be right.

Sugar
tastes bitter
It's a bother,
but you can't get thru.

Have it,
then you haven't.
It's a habit.
You deserve it too.

Each time it is the same
Temptation bites.
Addicted to the pain
Of endless fights
Is true love turned to hate
The matter of a wait.
To much blame between the two
To be right.

Sugar
tastes bitter
It's a bother,
but you can't get thru.

Have it,
then you haven't.
It's a habit.
You deserve it too.

Holler and ache
Oh, Repeat your mistake
No, He'll never change
It's a foolish exchange
He knows she'll never change
Never step off the stage
In the weeds and the ash
Where they beat down the strange

Have it,
then you haven't.
It's a habit.
You deserve it too.

This is a good song I would love to hear it. I like the addiction angel it sounds like he is addicted to this process. Good job.

Hey Josh,

good start here, I dont think theres too much wrong with this song as it is. Although I think Id be inclined to change this line
The matter of a wait.
to
Just a matter of time it feels better to me .
Also I dont quite understand these lines
In the weeds and the ash
Where they beat down the strange

good work

Paul

Hey

I like this as well , I really like that last verse especially

recording does not have to be expensive at all , Audacity can be down loaded for free then you will need to down load a lame d.ll file and then use something as a pre amp 9 tapr recorder  )

And a decent mike ( don't have to spend a fortune )

I did and it's the best thing I have ever invested in
( except for my guitars )

Audacity has a click track ( metronome ) and my playing is getting better and better . This is actually coming from all those poor people who endured my noise over the past year or so.

I found every excuse under the sun not to record .... but now try and stop me , I spend hours and hours out in my little room in the house
( much to the disgust of the Mrs ) recording..

Do it is my advise Just do it no more excuses pleaseee just do it for yourself nobody else just yourself....

Hilch :?:

Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am

Oh, no. I've been trying my balls off to record. But I haven't been able to finish a song before the week ends. I've got audacity, but all I've got is a headphone mic. My birthdays tomorrow though, big 2-1, so I should be able to update my junk.
One of the main problems I've been having, outside my recent wrist problem, is to play on tempo, but I will most definatly try that click track. I was trying to record a metranome into audacity and then record along side that, but it wasn't working too well. HASSLE!!!

But no, I've been trying. Thing is, I've only been playing guitar for a couple months, and I always think of guitar parts that are beyond my idmediate grasp. Not imposible, but difficult. But I'd rather work towards recording something I'd be satisfied with then churn out oversimplified crap just to have recorded something.

And thanks, the last verse is my favorite too. The middle one is the only one that bothers me, and I'll get to it eventually.

THANKS FOR THE TIPS HILCH!!!
