This is a Bluegrass song (my first one). Every other thursday night at the Allison creek presbyterian church they have bluegrass night. I live in South Carolina near the appellation mountans, so we have a lot of that sort of thing around here :D :D the show is free, we pass the hat around and there is usually 2-3 hundred folks present and 3 or 4 bands. It makes for a darn good time :!: :!: -I guess i had better practice up my flat pickin :lol:

Just when I thought I'd be able to visualise your next song easily, having heard some of your songs, you go and surprise me with a change of style!
Could imagine a band playing this in a bar in a "road" film...
I can also see the bluegrass night in my mind's eye (should that be "hear it with my mind's ear?) ...... lots of loud acoustic music, kids running round, smiling faces...job done!

I love bluegrass. Grew up near the Appalachians. Not far from where I live now, in Julian CA, there's a bluegrass festival couple times a year. Your song describes it beautifuly. Well done.
