Just a very rough demo...file under "can do better" - but it'll give you an idea of the song-

The Bells of Christmas

The bells of Christmas, are ringing so loud,
Sending their message, attracting a crowd,
The bells of Christmas, are borne on the air,
Sending their message, of peace everywhere.

The bells of Christmas, ring loud and true,
A Christmas Carol, for me and for you,
A message of hope, a message of peace,
So let the bells ring out, don't let them cease.

The bells of Christmas, ring loud and clear,
All over the world, for all to hear,
The bells of Christmas, send out their song,
Freedom for everyone, don't let it be long.

The bells of Christmas, chime for you and me,
While snowflakes are falling, on Christmas trees,
There's magic in the night, and in the air,
As the bells of Christmas, ring everywhere.

OK, four verses, no choruses, I can hear this in my head strummed fairly rapidly with a lot of sus4ths and some tubular bells....just for once I thought I'd try and write a nice happy cheerful song, this year seems to have been taken up by writing blues, and what the heck, it's Xmas....so to all of you out there, have a good Christmas, and may next year be better than this year....and above all else, keep on rocking!!!!

:D :D :D

Hey Vic

Bloody lovely .... terrific ... I got goose bumps when I listened to it this is amazing man well done bravo ....

I 'm going to have a go at playing this but I will have to change one word for the Australian Christmas as we don't have snow here in December but it usually rains so I'll swap snowflakes for rain drops , that will be the ticket ..

Yes some big Tubular bells rining during this would be amazing ..

And from my family to yours Mr Vic Lewis have a very very Merry Christamas and hope you and your family have a wonderful 2006 ...

thank you , for letting me hear your music this year the pleasure has all been mine ....

All the best my friend

Well Vic. I must say I enjoyed this very much. but I cant help thinking it needs a chorus, just for the sing along in the pub, when we can be drinking a different Bells for Christmas

No but seriously Vic this is a nice piece.

I dont think there is any need for could do better or must try harder. You should get a merrit point or two for this one.

Be excellent to each other & party on dudes!

Vic

Nice Job.

Kind of reminds me a little of Happy Christmas (War is Over)

But for some reason in also reminds me of Ray Davies

John Lennon meets The Kinks

Nothing wrong with that in my book

Merry Christmas

Another good one Vic, definitely in keeping with the Christmas spirit. I also think it would be good to have a chorus in there if you felt so inclined.

Anyway have a Happy Christmas.

cheers
