New meat :D Rough demo but an almost listenable recording to get the feel. Still changing things around (melody, need better banjo playing :roll: ) but looking for feedback.

Hi Andy,

You went for one of the BIG life questions :wink: The way you strum the banjo has a "rooster-ish" quality that adds to mood of the song. My favorite part musically is on the part "Do you love chickens?"

Now, is the "she" in verse one referring to the chicken or Emily?...if it's the chicken, maybe "Emily Dickinson said IT could not stop for death.

The lyrics would have been pretty confusing without the link to the story.

It's funny and entertaining.

Good start, but it seems like you're in search of a melody.
