Seems like there is a pattern evolving . . . . . . . .

SITTING HERE BESIDE MYSELF

Every second every minute
every hour every day
we've become so close
in every way

Where do I start
where do you begin
you're so much apart of me
more than just a friend

suddenly I'm beside myself
and I don't know what to do
sitting here beside myself
doing nothing but thinking of you

I'm sitting here beside myself
feeling incomplete & so alone
sitting here beside myself
waiting for you to come home

Every second every minute
every hour every day
everything has changed
now that you're away

I miss you telling me
what I should and shouldn't do
miss you whispering in my ear
a tender I love you

And I'm sitting here beside myself
and I don't know what to do
sitting here beside myself
doing nothing but thinking of you

I'm sitting here beside myself
feeling incomplete & so alone
sitting here beside myself
waiting for you to come home

I know I asked for some time
some time to be apart
I don't know what I was thinking
I know it didn't come from my heart

Every second every minute
every hour every day
I wish you would come home
I've so much to say

And I'm sitting here beside myself
and I don't know what to do
sitting here beside myself
doing nothing but thinking of you

I'm sitting here beside myself
feeling incomplete & so alone
sitting here beside myself
waiting for you to come home

Every second every minute
every hour every day

Hi Neil,

Some nice contrast between the sections and the message comes across clear. :D

Suggestion:
The way the words read, I was thinking this part would have minor chords (sad emotion).....then on the "waiting for you to come home" go to major (hopeful)
And I'm sitting here beside myself
and I don't know what to do
sitting here beside myself
doing nothing but thinking of you

Thanks for sharing.

James
