Hi

Joe Wrote " So tell me, did you get carried away too and write the rest of the songs? "

I responded "No, I didn't get carried away and try to write the rest of the song .

I got carried away and tried to write one chorus for each submitter"

So here are a few more and I promise not to post any more as I feel
I've taken up more than my fair share of the forum already.

I did succeed at the task though so if anybody is curious PM me
and I'll send you your's.

Adam West will always be Batman (SlowPlay)

(Had to put Frank in because I read of his death right after see this title)

Julie Newmar, Victor Bruno, Frank Gorshin
I will give you respect as your due
But Adam West will always be Batman
And he'll beat you in episode two

This song has been deleted (NEZTOK)
(a free speech thang!)

This song has been deleted
We can not sing it here
This song has been deleted
Out of censorship and fear
This song has been deleted
That would be my luck
This song has been deleted
So I might as well say @$#%

What will I do when you are gone (redrider)

What will I do when you are gone
I'll have the boys over
We'll Jam all night long
I'll drink too much whiskey
and I won't mow the lawn
Baby that's what I'll do when you are gone
What will I do when you are gone
I'll tell all our friends
Just how you did me wrong
I cry in my beer
as I drink until dawn
Baby that's what I'll do when you are gone

And of course:

Ireland (Constantyne)

( I had to take a stab at this one otherwise I'd have to change my screen name and that's too much work)

Ireland you are a beacon
shining in the northern sea
and although I've never seen you
My soul hears you calling me

(What a load of Blarney)

Hey the Celt,

Hooray, another Batman song! After all the depressing songs 2 weeks ago, I'm glad to see some camp.

I also liked, What will I do when you are gone. Way to turn it on its head! Were you thinking of a King of Wishful Thinking sorta thing, or a full fledged "I'm glad that's over"? Either way is good, I'm just curious.

As far Ireland goes, yeah, I think most of us who did that title were full of Blarney. The title really lends itself to some wish-fulfilment/sentimentallity, unless someone was to tackle the political situation there, so I think you're being a bit hard on yourself.

I know what you mean .

It was fun to write some stuff with a bit (a small bit) of humor
for a change.

I'm seeing "What will I do when you are gone"as a full on rocker or
more likely country/rock tune. I guess the attitude is I'm glad that it's
over or just the plain truth about the ways many men deal with things
I know I'm guilty

Ireland, of course it's sentimental,
and who ever said Blarney was a bad thing?

I know I'm guilty :oops:Cool - everyone seems to have the same feel for this chorus. I was getting it more at the country/rock end. Might have to take a stab next week...

My favorite submission of this batch is "This song has been deleted " I think that this could be a whole lot of fun and a protest at the same time. What style do you think would work best, Punk, Ska, Metal, or Classic Rock? I'm liking the Punk groove.

Well thank you Celt for picking one of my titles. I think you made a great country/rock chorus out of it. Did you mean to write this line this way "I'll drink too whiskey" or did you mean I'll drink whiskey too? either way good work.

Later on.

Hey!! Who moved my cheese???

They say that only 1 song in 100 is good!?! I think I need a lot more scratch paper!!!

Redrider

That was suppose to be " I'll drink too much whiskey"

Thanks for catching that and yes it is country/rock.

"This song has been deleted"

I was thinking Folk but I can see how Ska or Punk would work.

hey.

"this song has been deleted" is grand. I didn't know how to attack it and put it in a chorus. you did a great job at it! for me folk would work.(something like "old soul song(for the new world order" by bright eyes)

cheers,
