Hey guys, intersting topic for this week (or non-topic :lol:) Here's a few lines from the many I have floating around;
Reach out
Take my hand
Feel the power
In our final hour
---------------------------------
Whats going wrong
In this world of ours?
Fear and war
Rich and poor
Commentary provided
On a people divided
--------------------------------
A quiet night
Moonlight dancing,
Dancing on the shore
This is my Heaven
They are all pretty weak, and quite formless really (as they haven't been worked on at all) but who knows, maybe someone'll have one of those "moments" and make good use of 'em.
Have at them! :D

Pete,
Interesting lyrics
1. Dark
2. Political commentary?
3. Romantic
Just a quick first impression. Nothing sparking but #2 seems
have some potential.
John
I took a shot a setting #3 to music.
Warm breeze blows in off the lake
And the moonlight is
Dancing, dancing
Dancing, dancing
Heaven is the hand that I hold

Hi Pete
#1 Definitely the last passion throes of a relationship dying when there's the final spark before the flame is snuffed for good. That's what these lines say to me.
#2 Is the basis of a protest song and is actually quite reminiscent of Aerosmith's - Living on the Edge which would certainly give you a good direction to follow.
#3 I love what Slowplay's done with the idea, the way it's developed and the music to it is very good - that's worth working on. It'll take me a while to etthat fingerpicking down but it sounds great.
Definitely good things here really worth pursuing them - so move them from the back burner to the front.
Good stuff
Bob
