For all my talk about keeping this a no-pressure, fun time, I'm starting to get nervous. Funkalicious is a name to live up to and I fear I'm not up to the part. :lol:
Not looking for any strokes or reassurances here, ladies, just letting you know right up front that I am our weakest link. Just being a realist and honest. I'll give it my best for sure--I'm just not very advanced yet.
So, with that said, I'm taking the backing track to my lesson tonight and asking for some help from my guitar teacher.

I don't know that I'm nervous, but I am excited about this! Everybody here is going to be interested in hearing what we turn out, and, honestly, I don't care if we're the best or not. I just want us to at least appear as if we can hold our own with the boys!! And, I do believe that we can!
