this ones pretty self explanatory.

she's a jet set girl
i think she's out of my league
but i know if she lets me
i could give her what she needs
all that she wants is a
corner in the country
with great green fields and a
little bit of company
i can see........
that longing in your eyes
oh i can ease your fears

She goes from glasgow to London
then ukraine for good measure
Shes an independant woman
she's sexy , vivacios
we both talk the same
and we laugh and we flirt
but theres something unsaid
and it lingures between us
i see.......
that longing in your eyes
oh i can ease your fears

She's got the world at her feet
theres not much i can offer
but to tell her i'll be there to
love and adore her
and give her a little
corner in the country
with great green fields
and i'd be her company
i see.......
that longing in your eyes
oh i can ease your fears.

And i'll tell it and think it and speak it and breathe it and reflect it from the mountain so all souls can see it.- Bob Dylan,a hard rains gonna fall

Could be nit picking but I would change the last lines of each of the verses.

In all the other lines you talk about her in the third person, like she's not there. But in the last 2 lines you sound like you are talking to her directly.

Maybe the last lines should be like:

That longing in her eyes
Oh I can ease her fears

Just a thought.

good point but i kinda like that flaoting between tenses,
as in im telling a story but the main message is directly towards her.

I agree with both of you!

Ha ha!

In that, maybe sometimes use one tense, and in another verse/verses, use the other?
