I'm posting it again cuz it didn't work last time
1.You know how optimistic Iwas before,
Even before the door had opened,
And I can't quite tell if you're sure,
But I was starting to miss the way it was before

And I'm stressed out,
And you know it,
But I told you,
I can hold it,
All in one place,
But there's just too much slippin' away

2.You know how pessimistic you were before,
I'm starting to think I'm goin' to lose you,
You have to find your voice before,
You loseit, You lose it,
And I think I really miss how it was before

Bridge (happy, like elevator music, but faster)
It wasn't any better, It wasn't any better, It- wasn't-any -better
(Electric guitar metal solo, if Ican get it)

And I'm stressed out,
And I know it,
But I told you,
Ican hold it,
All in one place,
And know I know, there was just too much slippin' away

3.You know everything that I told you before,
And I frieked out, so just take it,
Do your own job, by your own self,
Cuz it wasn't my part to do it anyway,
That's okay

I was stressed out,
And we know it,
And I told you,
I can't hold it,
All in this place,
Now it's just not slippin' away

Can you please critique a lot. I'm gonna ask a lot of questions, and here's my first one? Can you figure out the conflict? I'll post more later.

I know the tempo is hard to figure out, but that's cuz it changes a few times throughout, at the beginning, it's four/four (I think, this is from memory), then in the bridge, it speeds up to a three/four, or six/eight, then it goes to four/ four and occasionally, towards the ending is in cut time. I know it's very confusing. I honestly don't know jack about chords, so I don't know what chords the background is in, I can hear it in my head, but I can't identify it. As far as the vocals, it's slighltly lower, but not a whole lot, and sometimes I go up in range, the point of the song is that I was trapped in a really stressful situation, and my friends weren't speaking up for themselves, so I was stuck in the middle as their spokesperson. Then in the end, I just told them to do it themselves, and it worked out anyway, cuz I got the last mic available, and we didn't have to do auditions. In the end, I want it to have a more solid tempo and tell a story.
