I haven't seen this one in a while so here goes.
Do you have any names for your guitars? I don't only because we each name I think of I foolishly connect it to something that I don't like, so I do not use it.
What are yours?
Vacate is the word...Vengance has no place on me or her...Cannot find a comfort in this world.
I call my Squier 51 "Earl." My Ibanez is Blackie (stolen from Clapton) My Seagull, oddly enough, makes me feel like I'm Bob Dylan...but it has no name at the moment.
Only one has a name. "Big Red."
"A cheerful heart is good medicine."
My Gibby Flying V is "Veronica" and Ibanez GRG and RG I call "Blackenstein."

Everything is 42..... again.
My Ibanez RG is affectionately know as 'my baby'. Sometime I feel like we're dating: enfatuation, fights, and all :) !

Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am
I've named two of mine after two of my musical heroes, although I don't really refer to them by those names.
My first is really grungy - short scale, sounds good even when it's taking a real beating - so that's Kurt.
My second is Slash, although it's not really that slash-like until it's through a Marshall stack set to all 10s (and I only managed that once in a studio - awesome sound, but man did that hurt :D)
I only have a name for my '73 Strat.
"Mi Amigo" just because we've been through so
much together in the last 33 years.
My BB King Epiphone, is called Lucille, obviously ;)
My Guild acoustic is called..........Guilda
of course!!
I call my Tacoma DR14LH Buttercup.
Tim Madsen

I was thinking of naming my acoutic "Dee" because it does spend the majority of its time in open D tuing, that I use for songwriting. Problem is I have an aunt and a cousin we call Dee.

Naming guitars is so cliche'
You are right 8) but it's a lot of fun:
My Washburn acoustic is "Bear"
My Yamaha acoustic-electric 12 string is "Sparky"
My red Squier Series 24 electric is "Bloodsport"
later,
Ghost 8)
