It's Over
All along I've had my suspicion
that the devil too, has his ambition
he wants to trade me for my mortal soul
but if he does where will I go
when it's over
when it's over
he's been trying to tempt me all these years
playing on my greed playing on my fears
he know's what I want
doesn't care what I need
if I tell him no
he doesn't take heed
it's not over
it's not over
he lurks in the darkness
and waits his turn
as I wait for the sunrise
there's a chance I might burn
not all of us want the same thing in life
some want it all, some just a slice
then it's over,
then it's over
all my suspicions have come true
there's a devil in me and a devil in you
and the battle continues for control of my soul
should I give in, I won't know
until it's over
until it's over

Well you did it again. Every time I read your work I can find
fault with the lyrics. Usually lines being too long and rambling.
Then I listen to the MP3 and you make it work in that unique
style of yours.
Another Good One

PS When did you move to Taso?
That's a beautiful area of the country.
Thanks, John. I moved to Taos barely a month ago. And yes, it's quite amazing here. A most mystical place and final resting place to D.H. Lawrence. Maybe it will give me some inspiration. Lady Chatterley's Guitar Player . . . . . . . hmmm . . . . . . .

Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am
