Works for me - not a word or a sentiment misplaced....
I can see this as a dark, finger-picked minor chord piece for the verses, and a heavier guitar coming in for the longer bridge...perhaps you'd like to let us all know what music you've got in mind...

I was also inspired to write about the children but you took a
much different approach .
The final chorus says it all

wow!!....its the type of song that would have rounded off live 8 nicely. A way of saying that it doesnt matter how much we scream about the subject, we need to turn our words to actions.
