Hello to All,
Portia's title " Lost Inside a Tangled Mind" along with pbee's chorus looked fun and challenging so I gave it a shot.
"Lost Inside a Tangled Mind" (Portia)
v1
Trapped in a state of confusion, I keep praying for a sign
That will relieve this mental anquish that plagues me all the time
Sometimes I hear them laughing
Sometimes I hear them cry
But no matter what the voices do, my conscience questions why
My concience questions why
Chorus (pbee)
And now I'm searching for a place to hide
A place I can find myself
But threads of hope and despair entwine
I'm lost inside a tangled mind
v2
The blame becomes horrific, there is no compromise
My mind is like a time bomb as the pain intensifies
No longer can I trust myself
Decisions can't be made
On the edge of sanity, alone and self betrayed
Alone and self betrayed
Chorus (pbee)
And now I'm searching for a place to hide
A place I can find myself
But threads of hope and despair entwine
I'm lost inside a tangled mind
v3
The voices inside are calling now, they want to end this fight
No more pain they promise me, the questions end tonight
Can you hear the angles singing?
They're telling me it's time
Thank God I'm going home now, inside my tangled mind
Somewhere within my mind
Hi jojolargo,

I for one am glad you did, welcome to the forum. I think you did a wonderful job here :D well done. I especially like the last verse with the allusion to death as the final release. It's also interesting that you used the "Im" version of the last line in the chorus. I was wondering which one people would use.

Hey pbee!
Thank you, I appreciate it! It's a fun project.
Jojolargo,
Good job, not too much to criticize here. Keep it up! G. :)
I just got a chance to read your song and I really liked it. I have no criticism except for spelling--I'm assuming it was angels calling you and not angles. I have visions of geometric shapes coming at me now, lol. I'm just messin with you. Really well done.
Joe
Hey Joe
Thanks for the feedback and the heads-up on "angles vs angels". I totally missed it. Should have caught it before I posted. Geometric shapes, good stuff!
