Hi all,
I've been reading all of your interesting titles and will try to comment as much as possible. Last week, Chris C. gave me a nudge to try my hand here in this forum so..here I go.
For your consideration...
Symetrical Lies
Surrogate Dreams
Easily Gleaned
It Sounded Right
Teamwork- A few harmless flakes working together can unleash an avalanche of destruction.
Welcome to SSG Blueline
Symmetrical Lies
I LOVE IT!
My vote for best title so far.
It could be Country, Modern Rock or just about any genre in between.
Surrogate Dreams
Another keeper.
I hope someone comes up with a good chorus for this one.
I'd love to try to work out some verses.
Easily Gleaned
Not Bad.
I think Gleaned may be a hard term to work with
but still a catchy title.
It Sounded Right
I'm thinking that It Sounded Right is just what you were thinking
when you came up with this one.
Very Country sounding to me.

Hi all,

Don't go taking any notice of what he suggests....
Symetrical Lies
Nice start! :D
I'm hearing something smart and cocktail loungey, with clever lyrics about a trendy but faithless couple. Sung by a beautiful smokey voiced singer in a superbly tailored gown that rustles when she moves and ..... um, what was I supposed to be commenting on??... Oh, the song title.... good one..
Surrogate Dreams
Probably her follow up number. (Did I mention the way the gown rustles as she prowls around the stage?...Oh, did I?.. sorry...)
Easily Gleaned
This is going to be a challenge for the singer, as 90% of the listeners will probably hear it as "Easily Cleaned". But I'd be interested to hear what you had in mind.
It Sounded Right
This came up as a wry comedy song for me. Something like:
Do these stretch pants make my bum look big dear?" Is what she clearly asked
I said "Not big my love, not big at all, the word you want is VAST"...
Well she tells me not to lie, and it sounded right to me....
Did she have to aim so low? Did she have to use her knee?....
Cheers,
Chris
Hail and welcome!
Symetrical Lies
There's a lot of possibilities here. It's tangible on both mental and physical images (I see two people lying on opposite sides of a bed) and should prove a real winner for someone.
Surrogate Dreams
Again, rife with possibilties. My first impressions are a Fleetwood Mac, middle era (Bob Welch and company), sort of psychodellic piece
Easily Gleaned
I agree with Chris that this phrase may truly take some doing to sing well. Might be up Nick's alley...
It Sounded Right
I can see this as being one of those heartfelt country ballads. Dad talking to kids sort of thing. But it's also got (gasp!) lots of possibilities...
Peace
Symmetrical lies is good. Perhaps juggling two lovers, one would need to keep track of what lies you tell to whom and the best way to do that is to tell symmetrical lies.
Symetrical Lies
Yes this one has possibilities, from golf to relationships.
Surrogate Dreams
Unrequited love to unfulfilled aspirations
Easily Gleaned
Easily Gleaned but not so easily cleaned I think
It Sounded Right
This one has heaps of possibilities, it could be anything
cheers
Paul
Hi Blueline
Symmetrical Lies - great thinking, a lie that looks the same from both sides
Easily Gleaned - may prove a bit more of a test - as Chris says may easily be misheard
Surrogate Dreams is good - lots of ideas about taking on someone else's dreams to the detriment of your own.
It Sounded Right - very easy title to work with speaks immediately of a communication breakdown
Good stuff
Bob
You are what you eat, eat well
Symetrical Lies
I see so many relationships where both parties are focused on what the other can do for them ( status, money, sex ), but the lie both use is "I love you".
Surrogate Dreams
A song about a child coming out from under the dreams of one or more of his/her parents?
Easily Gleaned
The clues she dropped were easily gleaned.
It Sounded Right
I'm hearing a regret song either after a night of drinking ( "woke up with a tattoo of a daisy; it sounded right last night" ), or just after having build up a potential relationship in one's head, then realising it wasn't all that was imagined.
Ice cream is a dish best served cold.

 Remind me NOT to read Chris's posts before I comment. Now all I can see is him doubled up in pain with a posteriorly well endowed lady standing over him with a satisfied grin.
Any way, hi. My comments . . .
Symetrical Lies
Lots of cool lateral thinking on this one. I see a mirror for some reason. (Reflections & symmetry, reflecting the truth - mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest etc.)
Surrogate Dreams
Surrogate pregnancy came to mind here.
Easily Gleaned
'I can read your mind - I know you really think' type of glean.
It Sounded Right
Sorry - no comment - blame Chris :)
Cheers

Actually this already sounds like part of a song. I'd go with that.
